Pumpkin Patch

All of our families are invited to carve a pumpkin to share at our new, outdoor Pumpkin Patch, this year! We have not identified a theme for pumpkin carving in our classroom as students are invited to share their creativity with us.  This year especially, it is important to enjoy time together with family as creative inspirations help us create our fabulous jack 'o lanterns.

Each classroom has been assigned a spot in the Pumpkin Patch & our spot is NE of the outdoor classroom.  [Ask your child to help identify which direction is NE when bringing your pumpkin to school.  :)  ]  Please refer to the map for more specific information.

*Remember that we will be dismissing from the Pumpkin Patch at the end of the day, so that families will be able to take their creations home with them for Saturday.*

Costumes

Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school on Thursday.  Please remember that costumes should not include weapons or gruesome details.  Students are also asked to leave any costume masks at home - especially as we will already be wearing our face coverings and it could make breathing difficult with two masks.

Popcorn

Parents are requested to send a small bag of popcorn to school with their child on Thursday, as we will have an extra snack with one of our Halloween surprises in the afternoon.  Please only send enough popcorn for your child as we are not able to share food, currently.  Thank you.

Our Learning  Our plants are ready to come home!  We planted seeds exactly 13 days ago and we've been observing attentively ever since...
