Notre chasse aux trésors

Today we combined our learning of the cardinal points with "Take Me Outside" Day and we went on a treasure hunt! The instructions given told us which direction we would be moving in and included either a measurement (ie. 30 steps, 8 steps) or a landmark to help us locate our next point closer to the treasure.  We listened carefully to each instruction and found each of our landmarks.  Despite the blustery weather this afternoon, we were able to locate our treasure before it was covered over with snow!  :)
