Our visit with a Master Beekeeper

We had a fantastic and informative virtual visit with our Master Beekeeper, Gisele Hardock, on Friday, November 6th, 2020. She added new & interesting facts to our learning about bees and answered many, many questions.  We finished up our learning with Mme Gisele by learning how to support bees colonies in Canada, by planting wildflowers in our gardens, providing a water bowl filled with rocks or marbles as bees aren't very good swimmers, and allowing dandelions to flourish in the spring as they are a crucial food source for bees as they create their new colony.
