Winter Celebration

It's here!  Our Winter Celebration link has arrived!  

We are very excited to share our Jingle Bells/Vive le vent song with you.  

The long coloured tubes are called BoomWhackers and we had oodles of fun learning to play them.  Each colour is tuned to one of the notes in C major scale on the piano.  The tubes that we are using make up almost a complete C major scale.  There is a sticker in the middle of each BoomWhacker that we call the "sweet spot". To ensure that our song is in tune, we need to be very precise in hitting the BoomWhacker in the middle of that sticker to play the correct note.  

Since we have verses showcasing only the melody and verses using chords (ie. playing multiple notes at once), we also needed to practice so that we were all playing our chord at exactly the same time.
