Un château de glace 

It would not be Carnaval without creating an ice fort!  We borrowed a set of Lego blocks from the lunch program and everyone had a chance to design their own ice fort before we went out in the cold to build our real ice fort.  It proved to be more challenging that we thought to "glue" the ice blocks together, but our salt water helped us out.   

A huge thank you to all of our families for helping us freeze and peel :) our ice blocks! We love our ice fort and hope that each of our families have had a chance to visit our real ice fort on the inside of the outdoor classroom fence.  

Here are some of our completed Lego ice forts!  Our class was wonderfully creative with their ideas!
