As we continue to start our day with our literacy & numeracy/calendar routines, we have added a new component to our routines this past week.  We are adding a targeted focus on the different grammatical parts of our sentences to our literacy tasks with BOOM cards.  BOOM cards are an interactive task that give instant feedback to the students.  This past week, we included our new task on three alternate days & focused on the verb "avoir", the verb "être" as well as prepositions (to support us in extending our descriptive language).  Currently we are completing each grouping of sentences together so that we can support each other.  Later on in the school year, we will hopefully be able to access our literacy independently on the laptops.
