Our Learning  

We have been very excited as we have continued to explore life in the past and how the needs of our grandparents & great-grandparents have benefitted our communities today. 

After a study of photos and some time for reflection & sharing of ideas, students have identified two different strategies for building our log cabins.  Students have chosen their particular strategy for a variety of reasons - from durability to authenticity to an effort to standardize the measurements by counting the number of materials used for each wall. 

The process of construction has begun! :)
